GMC Anantnag Released Selection list for Junior Resident Post
Selection list for the post of Junior Resident in Government Medical College, Anantnag.
Whereas, this office vide Advertisement Notice No. 08 GMCA of 2026, Dated: 24.04.2026 invited applications from the eligible candidates possessing requisite qualification for filling up tenure posts of Junior Residents in the Government Medical College, Anantnag; and
Whereas, the written test for the said posts was conducted on 1st of June, 2026 at Main Campus Dialgam, GMC Anantnag; and
Whereas, the merit list of the candidates who appeared in the said written test was published vide this office notification dated 16.06.2026;
Now, therefore, on the basis of merit secured and vacancies available, the candidates as annexed in Annexure “A” to this notification are provisionally selected as
Junior Residents under S.O 364 of 2020, Dated: 27.11.2020, in Government Medical College Anantnag initially for a period of six (06) months extendable upto one year
subject to the satisfactory performance to be certified by the concerned Head of the Department.
The selected candidates are directed to report the Establishment Section (Main Campus) of Govt. Medical College Anantnag within 14 days from the date of publication
of this notification along with following documents (original as well as photocopies) for verification:
i. MBBS Degree Certificate issued by the concerned University/ Institution.
ii. Internship completion certificate.
iii. J&K Medical Council Registration Certificate of MBBS.
iv. Attempt Certificate, if applicable.
v. Examination marks sheets (All Phases) issued by the concerned University
vi. Date of Birth Certificate
vii. Domicile Certificate
viii. 2 Passport size photographs
ix. Screening Certificate (FMGE Pass Certificate), if applicable.
