JKSSB Fresh Recruitment for 645 Posts

Educational Qualification
Draftsman (Civil)
Candidates must possess:
- Two-Year Draftsman Training Course Certificate/Diploma from a Government-recognised institute.
Works Supervisor
Candidates must have:
- Matriculation or equivalent qualification
- Building Construction or Carpentry Trade Certificate issued by JK Board of Technical Education (JKSBOTE) or Directorate General of Training (DGT).
Warder
Candidates must possess:
- Matriculation (10th Pass) from a recognised board.
Candidates must also satisfy the prescribed Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Endurance Test (PET).
Pay Scale
Public Works (R&B)
- Draftsman (Civil): Level-4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100)
- Works Supervisor: SL-2 (₹15,900 – ₹50,400)
Home Department
- Warder: Level-2 (₹19,900 – ₹63,200)
Selection Process
Public Works (R&B) Posts
Selection will be based solely on:
- Written Examination (OMR Based)
The examination will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions.
Warder Recruitment
Selection includes:
- Written Examination
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Physical Endurance Test (PET)
The written examination will contain objective-type multiple-choice questions in English language.
JKSSB has also notified that negative marking of one-fourth (0.25) marks will apply for every incorrect answer.
Physical Standards for Warder
Male Candidates
- Minimum Height: 5 feet 6 inches
- Minimum Chest: 32–33.5 inches
Female Candidates
- Minimum Height: 5 feet 2 inches
Candidates must also be physically fit.
Physical Endurance Test (PET)
Male Candidates
- 1600 metre race in 6 minutes 30 seconds
- 20 Push-ups
Female Candidates
- 1000 metre race in 6 minutes 30 seconds
- Shot Put (4 Kg): 14½ feet in three attempts
The PET will be qualifying in nature, and no marks will be awarded.
Special relaxation in PET standards has also been provided for eligible Ex-Servicemen as detailed in the official notification.
