Overview :
The Office of the Principal, Government Degree College Zanskar, Union Territory of Ladakh, has invited applications from eligible candidates for engagement on a purely contractual basis for the Academic Session 2026–27. The engagement will be made under the Skill Enhancement Courses of the University of Ladakh.
Applications are invited for the positions of Graphic Designer and Adventure Travel Guide (High Altitude).
Vacancy Details :
1. Graphic Designer
Essential Qualification :
Candidates must have:
Passed 12th Class.
Possess an NSQF Level-4 Certificate in Graphic Design.
Secured a minimum of 70% marks.
Hold the qualification from a recognized University/Institution.
Experience / Desirable Qualification
Preference will be given to candidates having:
2–5 years of relevant industry experience.
Training or work experience in Graphic Design or related fields.
2. Adventure Travel Guide (High Altitude)

Essential Qualification :
Candidates should possess:
Certificate, Diploma or Degree/Postgraduate qualification with specialization in:
Tour & Travel
Adventure Tourism
Mountaineering
Trekking
Qualification must be obtained from a recognized Institution/University.
Experience / Desirable Qualification
Applicants should have:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
At least 1 year of training experience in the concerned field.
Place of Posting
Selected candidates will be posted at:
Government Degree College Zanskar, Padum (Ladakh).
Terms and Conditions
The recruitment will be governed by the following conditions:
The engagement is purely temporary and will be made through the Department of College Development Council (DCDC), University of Ladakh, for the Academic Session 2026–27.
Candidates selected under this notification shall have no claim for regular appointment at any stage.
The recruitment process will follow the norms and guidelines of the Ladakh Skill Development Mission (LSDM), Union Territory of Ladakh.
Selected candidates will be responsible for conducting:
Theory classes
Practical classes
Field-based training
Workshops
Educational tours
Other academic activities related to the respective Skill Enhancement Course.
