University of Jammu Announces Fresh Admissions
Fresh Admission Notice – Academic Session 2026–27
MCA & M.Tech. – Computer Science (Specialization in AI & Data Science)
This notification is issued in continuation of the previous admission notices released by the Office of the Dean Academic Affairs and the Department of Computer Science & IT regarding admissions to the MCA and M.Tech. (Computer Science – AI & Data Science) programmes.
The department has informed that vacant seats, including self-financing seats, are available in both the University Main Campus and Offsite Campuses.
Candidates who have not yet applied for admission can now submit fresh applications. The University has also clarified that students who have not appeared in CUET/JUET are also eligible to apply for admission to these programmes.

Candidates who have passed or appeared in the final semester of a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream or discipline are eligible.

Seats reserved under different categories that remain vacant will be converted into Open Category seats and allotted to eligible candidates.

Did not appear in CUET/JUET.
Have not yet applied for MCA or M.Tech. admissions.

Candidates may also edit previously submitted applications until 21 July 2026. After this date, no further opportunity will be provided.
