As per Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment/CIL HQ guidelines, the post of Mining Sirdar does not fall under the identified list of positions for PwBD candidates, so PwBD reservation is not applicable for it.
For Assistant Foreman (Trainee) (Electrical)/Electrical Supervisor, PwBD reservation applies to candidates with Hard of Hearing (HH); One Arm/One Leg/Both Legs/Leprosy Cured/Dwarfism/Acid Attack Victim (OA, OL, BL, LC, Dw, AAV); Specific Learning Disability (SLD); or Multiple Disabilities involving these categories.

Degree/Postgraduate/Diploma qualifications acquired through distance learning/part-time mode (or their equivalent) will not be considered.
Since these vacancies are for both UG and OC mines, candidates holding restricted competency certificates are not eligible.
All qualifications must be recognized by AICTE/UGC/appropriate Indian Statutory Authorities.
Age Limit 2026
Minimum age: 18 years as on the cut-off date (10.08.2026).
Maximum age: 30 years for Unreserved (UR) and EWS candidates as on the cut-off date.

In addition to basic pay, other allowances such as Dearness Allowance, attendance bonus, special allowance, HRA, transport subsidy, and medical facility are admissible as per NCWA XI provisions. Cantonment Board Jammu Recruitment 2026
Applications from UR/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates without the prescribed fee will not be entertained and will be summarily rejected.
The application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Any tax or bank charges other than the prescribed fee will be borne by the candidate.
Fee must be paid through online mode only; WCL is not responsible if a candidate deposits the fee by any other mode.
Selection Process
Selection is through a Computer Based Test (CBT), followed by document scrutiny/verification and a medical examination.
WCL CBT Exam Pattern 2026
The CBT consists of 100 questions: Part 1 – General Aptitude (20 questions); Part 2 – Technical (80 questions). Each question carries 1 mark.
Duration: 90 minutes. Questions are multiple-choice with four options.
There is no negative marking; no marks are awarded for unattempted questions.
The question paper is bilingual (English and Hindi); in case of any discrepancy, the English version is valid and final.

Candidates are shortlisted for document verification based on CBT marks; the zone of consideration is 3 times the number of vacancies in each category.
In case of a tie in CBT marks, it is resolved first by Date of Birth (elder candidate ranked higher), then by alphabetic order of first name as per the Matriculation certificate.
A Merit Panel is published on the WCL website after document verification, followed by a provisional offer of appointment based on relative merit and reservation norms.
Candidature will be cancelled if a candidate is found ineligible at any stage — during scrutiny, during probation, or even during the course of employment.

Pay the application fee of ₹1,180/- online, if applicable to your category.
Review all details carefully before final submission — no changes are allowed once the form is submitted.

A candidate may apply for only one of the two posts; applying for both will lead to cancellation of candidature.
Only applications submitted through the online  recruitment portal will be considered.
If a candidate submits multiple applications, only the one with the higher “Application Sequence Number” will be considered; fees paid against one sequence number cannot be adjusted against another.
Important Instructions
Test cities are chosen by the candidate at the time of application and cannot be changed later; WCL reserves the right to allocate or change test cities.
No relaxation in the minimum qualification and eligibility criteria is admissible for any category of candidate.
Qualifications acquired through distance learning/part-time mode are not considered.
If a valid caste/category certificate is not uploaded, the candidate will be considered as UR; no request for change of category is allowed later.
Certificates will be verified from the issuing authority; candidature will be cancelled if any certificate is found unsatisfactory or not genuine at any stage.
EWS/SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/ESM certificates must be in Hindi or English.
Ex-Servicemen must produce their discharge certificate at document verification.
Candidates must maintain an active email ID and mobile number valid for at least the next one year; admit cards are issued only through the official website/recruitment portal.
Candidates employed in Government/Semi-Government/PSU/Autonomous Bodies must produce a No Objection Certificate at document verification and a relieving order at the time of joining, if selected.
Selected candidates can be posted at any UG or OC mine of any WCL area and are liable to transfer during their service.
Appointment is subject to the candidate being found fit in the Initial Medical Examination as per Company standards.
No TA/DA will be paid for the CBT, document verification, or joining.
The Court of Jurisdiction for any dispute is the Hon’ble High Court of Bombay – Nagpur Bench.
In case of any ambiguity, the English version of the Employment Notification is valid.
BARC Recruitment 2026, Apply Online
Using unfair means, impersonation, or misbehaviour during the CBT will lead to disqualification, possible debarment from future WCL selection processes, and criminal prosecution. Furnishing false information leads to termination of service; canvassing in any form leads to disqualification.
