Advertisement Notice for Engagement of Krishi Udyamis (KU)/Agricultural Entrepreneur in District Jammu under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP).

The advertisement has been issued in reference to communications from the Mission Director, HADP and subsequent directions received from the Agriculture Production Department.

Introduction :

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement as Krishi Udyamis (KUs)/Agricultural Entrepreneurs on a contractual basis for two years, extendable based on performance and subject to terms and conditions laid down under the HADP initiative.

The programme aims to establish Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs) across District Jammu to provide doorstep agricultural services, advisory support, farm mechanization facilities, input distribution, and digital services to farmers.

Post : Krishi Udyami (KU)/Agricultural Entrepreneur

Number of Posts : As per District-wise/Panchayat-wise requirement (Annexure-I).

Engagement Period : Initially for two years, extendable based on satisfactory performance.

Educational Qualification

Applicants possessing qualifications in Agriculture or allied sectors are eligible.

Duties of Krishi Udyami

Selected KUs shall:

Establish Kisan Khidmat Ghar.

Promote modern farming practices.

Facilitate implementation of government schemes.

Coordinate with Agriculture Department.

Promote digital agriculture.

Provide mechanization services.

Help farmers access subsidies.

Maintain records and submit reports.
