JKSSB Withdrawal of Posts – Official Notification Released

Notification

Subject: Withdrawal of posts of Motor Vehicle Inspector, advertised vide Notification No. 13 of 2025 dated 26.12.2025, under Item No. 315 and 316.

Whereas, the Transport Department vide Indent No. TRPT-MVDON/13/2023/02-Part (1) (7153349) dated: 29.08.2025, among others, referred various posts under direct Recruitment to Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board; and

Whereas, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board vide Advertisement Notification No. 13 of 2025 dated 26.12.2025, among others, advertised (10) posts of Motor Vehicle Inspector under Item No. 315 & 316 of Transport Department; and

Whereas, the Transport Department vide Letter No. TRPT-MVDON/43/2023-02 (CC-7229034) Dated: 14-07-2026 has now withdrawn the aforementioned posts ab-initio; and

Whereas, para/S.No. 03 of the above referred Advertisement Notification(s) lays down as under:

“the actual number of posts may undergo increase or decrease during or before the completion of the selection process and the JKSSB is not legally liable for any such variation in the total number of posts advertised for which the final selection list will be issued. The Advertisement Notification is also subject to the outcome of any writ petition/O.A. pending before the competent Court of law”.

Now therefore, it is hereby notified for information of all such candidates who have applied for the post of Motor Vehicle Inspector (10 posts) advertised vide Notification No. 13 of 2025 dated: 26.12.2025, under Item No. 315 & 316, Division cadre Kashmir and Division cadre Jammu respectively, that these posts stand withdrawn ab-initio.
