Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K) has invited online applications from eligible candidates for contractual project-based positions under the Inclusive Technology Business Incubation (i-TBI) Scheme, supported by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India.
The recruitment will be carried out through the SKUAST-K Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship Centre (SKIIE). The appointments will initially be for 6 months, extendable up to 1 year based on performance, or until the completion of the project, whichever is earlier.

1. Incubator Manager (i-TBI)
No. of Posts: 01
Monthly Salary: ₹50,000 (Consolidated)
2. Business Development Advisor (i-TBI)
No. of Posts: 01
Monthly Salary: ₹40,000 (Consolidated)
3. Incubator Associate (i-TBI)
No. of Posts: 01
Monthly Salary: ₹30,000 (Consolidated)
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess:
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Business Administration, or Engineering/Technology with at least 60% marks.
Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline with 65% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized institution.
Experience Required
Incubator Manager
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in:
Product/Technology Development
Intellectual Property
Innovation & Entrepreneurship
Startup Ecosystem
Project Management
Incubation Centres or Government Agencies
Business Development Advisor
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the above-mentioned fields.
Incubator Associate
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the above-mentioned fields.
Desirable Skills
Applicants with the following skills will be preferred:
Business automation knowledge
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Scientific and proposal writing
Startup mentoring experience
Innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem exposure
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Passion for technology incubation and startup development
Age Limit
Maximum Age: 40 Years
Job Responsibilities
Selected candidates will:
Assist the Chief Executive Officer/Head of SKIIE Centre.
Support scientific and administrative activities.
Mentor startups and innovators.
Organize technical workshops and incubation programmes.
Help entrepreneurs prepare business plans, project proposals and investor pitches.
Promote innovation and startup development.
Conduct outreach activities to identify and onboard promising startups.
Explore CSR funding opportunities and collaborations.

Selection Process
