Applications are invited on prescribed proforma for the position of Member(s) in Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations in accordance with the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination Act, 2002.
Number of posts:
The number of posts to be filled up shall be as under:-
(1) Member(s): as may be determined by the Government
Remuneration:
The Member(s) shall received salary/allowances and facilities as per their entitlement.
Upper Age limit:
Age of candidate(s) as on 1st January, 2026 shall not exceed 62 years and shall not be subject to any relaxation.
Term of Office:
The appointment of the candidate as Member(s) shall be made on tenure basis upto a maximum of two years and the candidate shall be eligible for re-appointment for another such term or until he/she attains the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.

Essential Minimum qualification and experience:
A candidate shall be eligible for consideration for selection/appointment only if he/she possess following qualification/experience:
(a) Member:
An academician of repute having served in the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir for not less than 20 years or a person having served as Special Secretary to the Government or against equivalent post or a Professor of a University or a College.

(i) Applications duly completed in all respects and accompanied with the documentary evidence, on the prescribed proforma, shall be submitted either through e-mail: additionalsecy. [email protected] or in person (hardcopy) in the office of Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department, Civil Secretariat, Jammu/Srinagar by or before the notified cut-off date.
(ii) Recommendations made by a Government Department or any University or any other recognized autonomous or statutory institution shall also be treated as applications against the afore-mentioned posts. Applications and recommendations shall also contain the details of the candidates as specified in the advertisement.

Application received after cut-off date shall not be entertained.
