The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), under the Department of Space, Government of India, through the ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB), has released Advertisement No. ISRO:ICRB:02 (EMC-CEPO):2026 dated 28-07-2026 for the recruitment of Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ posts.
Online applications are invited from eligible and meritorious graduates with B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree in the following disciplines:
Electronics
Mechanical
Computer Science
Civil
Electrical
Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
Architecture
The selected candidates will be appointed as Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Group ‘A’ Gazetted Posts) in Level 10 of the Pay Matrix. Recruitment will be based on GATE Score and appointments will be made at various ISRO Centres/Units across India.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognized university/institution. Selection will primarily be based on the candidate’s valid GATE score, followed by further stages as prescribed by ISRO.
Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be appointed in Level 10 of the Pay Matrix under the Central Government pay structure, along with applicable allowances and other benefits as per ISRO rules.
Selection Process
The recruitment process will be conducted based on:
Shortlisting through valid GATE Score.
Further selection process as notified by ISRO, including interviews or other stages, wherever applicable.
