Pay Scale

The appointment is made on a Regular Temporary basis in Level-10 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) with a pay scale of:

₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500, along with other allowances admissible under University rules.

The appointment shall be governed by the following conditions:

The appointment is subject to ratification by the University Syndicate.

The candidate will be covered under the New Pension Scheme (NPS) as per SRO-400 of 2009 dated 24 December 2009.

The appointee must join within 21 days from the date of issuance of the appointment order.

The joining report must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar.

Documents Required at the Time of Joining

The selected candidate must produce original documents for verification, including:

Academic qualification certificates and marks sheets.

Date of Birth certificate.

Category certificate (if applicable).

Physical Fitness Certificate issued by a Government Medical Officer.

Certificate confirming that no loan has been availed under any self-employment scheme.

Affidavit stating that the candidate is not employed in any Government/Semi-Government department and is not involved in any criminal case.

No Objection Certificate (NOC), wherever applicable.

Other Important Conditions

Salary will be released only after successful verification of all submitted documents.

The appointee will remain on probation for a minimum period of two years.

If any information or documents are found to be false or suppressed, the appointment is liable to be cancelled and disciplinary action may follow.

Service conditions shall be governed by the University Rules, UGC Guidelines, and J&K Civil Service Regulations (CSR), wherever applicable.

If the appointee wishes to resign during the probation period, one month’s written notice or one month’s salary in lieu of notice must be given.

The appointment shall remain subject to the outcome of any pending court cases, if applicable.
