University of Jammu Released Interview Notice for Assistant Professor Post
In continuation to Advertisement No. Estab./TW/C&R/26/535 dated 22.07.2026, all applicants for the post of Assistant Professor (Library and Information Science) for the Academic Session 2026- 27 are advised to check their registered email addresses. Interview invitations have been sent only to the shortlisted candidates.
The interview shall be held as per the following schedule:
Date : 07.08.2026 (Friday)
Time : 11:00 AM
Venue : Chambers of the Head, Department of Library and Information Science, University
of Jammu

Shortlisted candidates shall report 30 minutes before the scheduled time with all original
certificates/testimonials along with one set of self-attested photocopies for verification.
The Department shall not be responsible for the non-receipt or delayed receipt of the interview communication due to postal delays or incorrect/incomplete contact details furnished by the applicant.
No TA/DA shall be admissible for attending the interview.
