GMC Anantnag Released Selection List for Various Posts
Selection list for the tenure post of Senior Resident/Demonstrator /Tutor in various disciplines of Govt. Medical College Anantnag.

Whereas, this office vide Advertisement Notice No. 10 GMCA of 2026, Dated: 10.06.2026 invited applications from the eligible candidates possessing requisite
qualification for filling up tenure posts of Senior Resident/Demonstrator/Tutor (inservice/not in-service doctors) in the various disciplines of Government Medical College, Anantnag as per Criteria/Policy Guidelines for eligibility/selection of the tenured positions of Senior Residents/Tutors issued vide Government Order No. 383-JK (HME) of 2024, Dated: 20.06.2024; and
Whereas, in response to the aforesaid Advertisement Notice, this office received various application forms in different departments/disciplines; and
Whereas, as per of Government Order No. 383-JK(HME) of 2024, Dated: 20.06.2024, written test for a discipline may be dispensed if there is no vacancy or no vacancy is likely to accrue for the next six months or the number of applications are less than or equal to the posts advertised; and
Whereas, on scrutiny of application forms, it was found that the number of eligible applicants were less than or equal to the number of available posts in the department/discipline of Biochemistry, General Medicine, Microbiology and Radio- Diagnosis and the written test was therefore dispensed as per Govt. Order No. 383-JK (HME) of 2024, Dated: 20.06.2024;
Now, therefore, in light of the above, the selection list in the aforesaid disciplines as indicated in the Annexure ‘A’ to this notification is hereby notified for information to the concerned.
Accordingly, the candidates figuring in the Annexure ‘A’ to this notification are hereby directed to report to the Office of the Principal, Government Medical College Anantnag along with the following documents within 07 days from the date of issuance of this notification, for submission of online form through Employee Verification System (EVS) for verification of character and antecedents to the concerned candidate(s); –
1. Application form (in coloured).
2. Photocopies of all uploaded certificates.
However, if any candidate fails to report to the Office of Principal, Government Medical College Anantnag within the stipulated time, his/her selection in the concerned discipline shall forfeit without any further notice.
Note : Mere issuance of this notification does not entitle any candidate to claim appointment/engagement.
