Western Railway has issued an official communication regarding the submission of recruitment indents for Level-1 categories for the year 2026. The letter has been sent to various Divisions and Units following approval from the Railway Board to initiate the recruitment process through the HRMS Indent Management Module.

Important Instructions

All concerned Divisions and Units have been directed to expedite the assessment and submission of vacancies for the above Level-1 categories through the HRMS Indent Management Module after obtaining approval from the Competent Authority.

The recruitment indent should be prepared by keeping in view the 10% lateral intake, as per Railway Board Letter dated 13 December 2023 (RBE No. 138/2023).

Vacancies already indented and those notified under CEN No. 08/2024 and CEN No. 09/2025 should be taken into account and deducted while finalizing the assessment of vacancies.

The matter has been marked as Most Urgent.
