How to Apply
Candidates interested in applying for the advertised posts can download the application form attached with the advertisement notice or obtain the form from the main campus of Government Medical College, Doda.
The duly filled application form, along with the required documents, must be submitted during working hours at the office of the Registrar, Government Medical College, Doda.
Applications must be submitted within 15 days from the date of issuance of the advertisement notice.

Eligibility Criteria
For In-Service Candidates (PSC)
Candidates already in service will be paid as per PSC norms.
Applicants must submit:
NOC for undergoing Senior Residency/Tenure Posting from their parent department.
After selection, candidates will have to be relieved by their respective administrative department.
For Non-PSC / Non-In-Service Candidates
Selected candidates will be engaged on consolidated pay equivalent to the basic pay of Medical Officer/Assistant Surgeon, as per SRO-93 dated 15 April 2009.
Educational Qualification
The required qualification for the advertised posts is:
MD/MS/DNB or higher qualification in the concerned specialty.
For super-speciality requirements, MCh/DM/DNB (Super Specialty) qualification may be applicable as per the eligibility criteria of the respective post.
Documents Required
Applicants must attach self-attested copies of the following documents with the application form:
MBBS and MD/MS Degree in the concerned subject, along with all MBBS marks sheets.
Internship completion certificate.
Registration Certificate – MBBS & MD/MS.
Overall Position Certificate, including 1st, 2nd and 3rd position, if any.
Subject-wise Position Certificate, if any.
Distinction/National/International Honours/Medals/Academic Merit Certificate.
Details/certificates of paper presentations in National/International conferences, if any.
Poster presentation certificates in National/International conferences, if any.
Best Paper Award certificate, if any.
Best Poster Award certificate, if any.
Best Video Presentation certificate, if any.
Service Certificate clearly indicating rural service, if any, issued by DHS Jammu/Srinagar in respect of in-service candidates.
NCC J&K Hiring 2026
Date of Birth Certificate, such as Matriculation Certificate/Diploma.
Domicile Certificate.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be made in accordance with Government Order No. 383-JK (HME) of 2024 dated 20 June 2024.
Candidates are advised to fill the application form carefully and attach all required documents along with the bank fee receipt.
Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected without any further notice.
The number of advertised posts may increase or decrease at the time of selection.
