1. Government Notifies Semicon 2.0 Scheme
The Government of India has notified Semicon 2.0, aimed at strengthening India’s semiconductor ecosystem, improving supply-chain resilience and promoting domestic semiconductor manufacturing and design. The scheme has an approved outlay of ₹1.27 lakh crore.
2. PM Modi Receives Uzbekistan’s Highest State Honour
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was conferred the Order of Oliy Darajali Do‘stlik, Uzbekistan’s highest state honour for foreign leaders. The honour recognises his contribution to strengthening India-Uzbekistan relations.

India and Uzbekistan agreed to elevate their ties to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The two countries are also working towards stronger cooperation in trade, defence, energy and other sectors.
