Engagement of Guest Faculty in Government Polytechnic College Reasi

Applications are invited from eligible candidates who are domicile of UT of J&K for engagement as Guest Faculty for the Academic Session Nov-Dec 2026 on a need basis as mentioned below:
Post and Qualification
1. Guest Faculty – Mechanical Engineering
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 55% marks in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology/discipline or equivalent from a recognized university.
2. Guest Faculty – Physics / Chemistry
Minimum Qualification: Post-graduation/Master’s Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized University/Institute.
How to Apply
The application as per the prescribed format, available on the college website www.govtpolyreasi.edu.in, along with self-attested copies of the following documents, should reach the office of the undersigned by or before 12-09-2026 up to 3:00 PM:
Academic/Technical Qualification (Certificates/Marks Sheet).

Terms and Conditions
Selection shall be made purely on merit basis:
80 points for basic qualification on a pro-rata basis.
05 points for higher qualification.
05 points for GATE/NET/SET.
05 points for teaching experience (Polytechnic Diploma level or higher level) on a pro-rata basis, with 01 point for each academic year.
05 points for interaction with concerned candidates.
The remuneration for Guest Faculty shall be Rs. 750/- per lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs. 20,000/- per month.
The engagement of the Guest Faculty is purely on guest faculty norms and shall be only for one academic session, i.e. Nov-Dec 2026.
The selected candidates shall submit an undertaking/affidavit duly authenticated by the First-Class Magistrate before joining, clearly indicating that he/she shall not claim for continuation of his/her services and that the agreement can be terminated at any point of time without any notice period.
