NOTICE

Intimation and Advertisement of Centrally Sponsored Post-Matric Scholarship Schemes (PM-YASASVI) for OBC, EBC, and DNT Students for the year 2026-27.

Online applications are invited for scholarships under the PM-YASASVI Scheme from students belonging to EBC, OBC and DNT categories who are pursuing studies in Government/Government-recognized institutions in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir for the year 2026-27, as per the eligibility criteria given below.

Name of the Scheme

PM-YASASVI (PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India)

Eligibility Categories

The student must belong to Other Backward Classes (OBCs), Economically Backward Classes (EBCs), or De-notified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes (DNTs) as notified by the Central/State Government.

Annual Family Income

The total annual family income from all sources should not exceed ₹2.50 lakh per annum.

The applicant must have passed Matriculation (Class 10th) or Higher Secondary (Class 12th), or any higher examination, and must be pursuing a recognized post-matric course, such as:

Important Dates

For the Post-Matric Scholarship for OBC, EBC and DNT:

Portal Opening Date: July 22, 2026

Portal Closing Date: October 31, 2026

How to Apply

The scholarship is open to Indian Nationals who are residents of Jammu & Kashmir and belong to the specified categories while pursuing approved courses in recognized institutions in India.

Eligible students are advised to submit their applications on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) within the prescribed timeline.

All applications must be submitted online through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) at scholarships.gov.in.

All necessary certificates, including Income Certificate, Caste/Category Certificate and other required documents, must be uploaded according to the prescribed format/specifications mentioned in the application form.

Govt ITI Jammu Recruitment 2026

A student who is already covered under any other scholarship scheme from the State/Centre Government is not entitled to avail this scheme.
