Engagement of Guest Faculty in Government ITI Ramban for the Academic Session 2026–27
Applications are invited from interested candidates for the temporary engagement of Guest Faculty in Government ITI Ramban for the academic session 2026–27, for conducting training in the prescribed trade/trades as per the qualifications mentioned in the notice.
Interested candidates who fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria may submit their applications in the prescribed format along with the required documents.
The application form is available in Annexure “B” of this notice.
Trade and Prescribed Qualification
The notice invites applications for the following trade:
Electrician — Self Finance
The prescribed qualification is given in Annexure “A”.
For the Electrician trade, the eligibility/qualification mentioned in the notice includes the following:

B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from an AICTE-recognized institution/college/university, with one year of experience in the relevant field.
Alternatively, candidates having a three-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from an AICTE-recognized institution/board of technical education may be eligible, subject to the prescribed experience requirement.
Candidates possessing the prescribed NCVT/SCVT qualification in the Electrician trade, along with the required experience in the relevant field, may also be considered as per the applicable norms.
The qualification and experience are to be considered in accordance with the prescribed trade-wise norms and relevant Government/NCVT/SCVT requirements.
Documents Required with the Application
The duly completed application form must be accompanied by self-attested copies of the following documents:
Academic/Technical Qualification Certificates/Mark Sheets.
Date of Birth Certificate.
Domicile Certificate.

Character Certificate issued by the competent authority, wherever applicable.
Experience Certificate, if any.
Candidates should ensure that all documents submitted with the application are properly self-attested and clearly legible.
Mode of Selection
The notice states that the selection of eligible candidates shall be made on a point-based merit basis.
The merit will be prepared by awarding marks under different criteria. The criteria mentioned in the notice include:
A. Basic Essential Qualification
Marks are to be awarded for the basic essential qualification as per the DGT norms, including the prescribed qualifying examination for the relevant trade.
Maximum marks: 70
B. Higher Qualification
Additional marks are awarded for possessing a higher qualification relevant to the prescribed trade.
Maximum marks: 10
C. Professional/Technical Certification
Marks are awarded for relevant professional/technical certification, including qualifications such as NET/SET/GATE, wherever applicable.
Maximum marks: 5
D. Relevant Full-Time Teaching/Training/Field Experience
Candidates may receive additional marks for relevant full-time teaching, training or field experience in the relevant trade, subject to the conditions prescribed in the notice.
Maximum marks: 5
E. Structured Interview
A structured interview/assessment may be conducted to assess the candidate on parameters such as:
Subject knowledge
Communication skills
Practical knowledge
Teaching/training ability
Other relevant professional attributes
Maximum marks: 10
The total maximum marks are 100.
Important Conditions Regarding Engagement
The engagement of Guest Faculty is specifically stated to be purely temporary and will be for the academic session 2026–27 only, subject to the prescribed terms and conditions.
The engagement:
Does not confer any right of permanent appointment.
Does not create any claim for regularization or continuation in Government service.
Will remain subject to the availability of the post/work and other applicable Government instructions.
May be discontinued/terminated as per the terms and conditions of the engagement.
Candidates should also note that the engagement is intended only for imparting training/instruction in the concerned ITI trade.
Verification of Documents
The selected candidate/candidates will be required to produce their original certificates and documents at the time of verification.
Candidates must therefore ensure that the information furnished in the application form is correct and supported by valid documentary evidence.
If any information or certificate is subsequently found to be incorrect, false or misleading, the candidature/engagement may be cancelled.
General Instructions
The notice further provides that:
Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification and experience for the concerned trade.
The prescribed qualification must be obtained from a recognized institution/board/university, wherever applicable.
Candidates should submit the application in the prescribed format only.
The application should be complete in all respects and supported by the required self-attested documents.
Incomplete applications or applications not accompanied by the required documents may be rejected.
Candidates should ensure that they meet all eligibility requirements before submitting their applications.
The decision of the competent authority regarding eligibility, selection and merit shall be final, subject to applicable rules.
Annexure “A” — Qualification Details
Trade: Electrician
The qualification specified for the Electrician trade broadly provides for candidates having:
B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from an AICTE-recognized institution/college/university, with the prescribed experience in the relevant field; or
Three-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a recognized technical education institution/board, with the prescribed relevant experience; or
The prescribed NCVT/SCVT qualification in the Electrician trade, together with the required relevant experience, as applicable under the prescribed norms.
