Selection Process
Computer Based Test (CBT): A centralised online exam conducted all over India as per the datesheet prepared by DAVCMC.
Demo-cum-Interview (Phase 3): Conducted separately by individual DAV schools, as and when advertised. Only candidates who clear both the demo and interview are offered employment. Schools may charge a nominal handling fee at this stage.
Exam Pattern
The CBT will be a computer-based exam of a total of 1.5 hours (90 minutes), comprising two papers held one after the other in the same slot.

Documents Required at the CBT Exam Centre
Candidates will not be allowed entry into the exam centre without the following mandatory items:
Printed/hard copy of the Admit Card
One recent, coloured passport-size photograph
Original government-issued photo ID (PAN card, Driving Licence, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar/E-Aadhaar, etc.) matching the name and photo on the Admit Card
Prohibited items inside the exam centre include stationery items (printed/written material, calculators, pen drives, log tables, electronic pens/scanners), communication devices (smartwatch, mobile phone, Bluetooth devices, earphones, camera, etc.), wallets, goggles, handbags/pouches, and any opened or packed food item (except for diabetic candidates).
How to Apply for DAV Staff Recruitment 2026
Check advertisements for vacancies in different DAV schools/zones in national and regional newspapers (16 to 22 September 2026).
Visit the official DAV Recruitment website: davrecruit.davcmc.in.
Fill the online CBT Registration Form before 08 October 2026 and submit it as “Form Ready for Verification” (partial submission; the form remains editable at this stage).
Print the form and take it to the nearest DAV Verification Centre for verification of original testimonials (25 September to 16 October 2026). The school will verify and mark it “Verified and Approved for Payment”; after this, the form is locked.
Pay the CBT fee of Rs. 300/- online, within 7 days of approval, on the DAV Recruitment website only.
Wait for the datesheet, choose exam centre preference online (first-come-first-serve basis), and download the Admit Card once issued (November 2026).
Appear for the CBT as per the assigned date, shift, and centre (December 2026).

Candidates must use their own Registered Mobile Number (RMN) and personal email ID throughout the process – the same details are needed later for verification, Admit Card download, and the Provisional Eligibility Card (PEC). For Registered Users
Enter your Username – This will be the mobile number that you provided during registration.
Enter your Password – Use the same password that you created at the time of registration.
Click on the “Login” button to access your account.
If you have forgotten your password, use the “Forgot Password” option to reset it.
Visit your nearest DAV Verification Centre to get the form verified by the Admin.
After verification, log in again and go to Proceed to Payment to complete your payment.
