GMC Rajouri Admission Notice 2026-27

Government Medical College (GMC) and Associated Hospital Rajouri has issued admission notifications for leftover seats in B.Sc Nursing and B.Sc Allied & Healthcare (Paramedical) courses for the academic session 2026-27.

Eligible and interested candidates can submit their applications through offline or online mode as specified in the respective notification. The admissions will be made in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations of the concerned authorities.

GMC Rajouri B.Sc Nursing Admission 2026-27

GMC Rajouri has notified 11 vacant seats in the B.Sc Nursing course for the 2026-27 session.

Applications have been invited from eligible/desirous candidates for admission against these leftover seats. The selection of candidates will be carried out according to the rules and regulations issued by the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) and the J&K Nursing Council.

B.Sc Nursing Eligibility

Only candidates who have appeared in the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) Entrance Test for admission to B.Sc Nursing for the 2026-27 session are eligible to apply.

The minimum qualifying percentile mentioned in the notification is:

General Category: 50th Percentile

PWD-General Category: 45th Percentile

SC/ST/OBC: 40th Percentile

Only domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir are eligible for admission against the notified leftover seats.

B.Sc Nursing Application Dates

Candidates are required to fill out the prescribed application form and submit it along with the required documents and the JKBOPEE merit list to the Student Section, GMC Rajouri, Mehra Campus, during working hours.

The application submission window is from 21 September 2026 to 25 September 2026.

The last date to submit the completed application form is 25 September 2026 by 4:30 PM.

The completed application form along with all required documents must be submitted in PDF format as a single PDF file, with the file size not exceeding 10 MB.

Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

GMC Rajouri has also invited applications for leftover seats in various B.Sc Allied & Healthcare (Paramedical) courses for the academic session 2026-27.

The vacant seats are available in the following courses:

Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS)

There are 9 vacant seats available in the Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science course.

Bachelor of Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology (BAOTT)

There are 2 vacant seats available in the Bachelor of Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology course.

Bachelor of Dialysis Therapy Technology (BDTT)

There are 9 vacant seats available in the Bachelor of Dialysis Therapy Technology course.

Candidates interested in these courses are required to apply separately for each course.

Candidates applying for the B.Sc Allied & Healthcare courses are required to submit the relevant documents along with the application form, including:

Important Instructions

Candidates should carefully follow the instructions mentioned in the admission notification. Incomplete applications will not be entertained.

For B.Sc Nursing, applicants must have appeared in the relevant JKBOPEE Entrance Examination for the 2026-27 session.

The admission/selection process will be conducted according to the applicable rules of JKBOPEE, J&K Nursing Council and the concerned authorities.

Candidates should also note that the seat matrix may change at the time of issuance of the final selection list. The number of vacant seats may also increase depending upon the occurrence of vacancies.

If any candidate conceals or suppresses information at the time of admission, their candidature may be cancelled immediately.
