Jammu Smart City Limited (JSCL) has issued a recruitment advertisement for the engagement of Veterinary Doctors, Para-Veterinarians/Medical Nurses and Dog Catchers/Handlers on a contractual basis under the Animal Birth Control (ABC) Programme in different Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) of Jammu & Kashmir.
The recruitment is being carried out in accordance with Government Order No. 197-JK(HUD) of 2026 dated 19 September 2026.

Vacancy Details
Under this recruitment drive, JSCL is looking to engage candidates for three categories of positions:
Veterinary Surgeon – 5 Posts
Candidates applying for the Veterinary Surgeon position must possess an MVSc in Surgery & Radiology from a recognized Veterinary College.
Applicants must also have valid registration with the Veterinary Council of India, J&K Veterinary Registration Tribunal, or the Veterinary Council/Tribunal of any other state, as applicable.
The advertised remuneration for a Veterinary Surgeon is ₹80,000 per month, inclusive of PF and ESI.
Para-Veterinarian or Medical Nurse – 20 Posts
