Government Polytechnic College Poonch has issued a Re-Advertisement Notice for the engagement of a Guest Lecturer in Chemistry for the Academic Session November-December 2026.

Remuneration
The selected Guest Lecturer will be paid:
Rs 750 per hour
Maximum remuneration of Rs 20,000 per month, as per guest lecture norms.
Selection Process
Selection will be made on the basis of a merit list prepared by the Selection Committee and subsequently approved by the Director, Skill Development Department, J&K.
The merit will be prepared on the following basis:
80 points for basic qualification on a pro-rata basis.
5 points for higher qualification.
5 points for GATE/NET/SET qualification.
5 points for teaching experience at Polytechnic Diploma level or higher level, on a pro-rata basis, with 1 point for each academic year.
5 points for interaction with the concerned candidate.
Important Terms and Conditions
The engagement is purely temporary and will be made on a need basis for the November-December 2026 session. It will not create any right to continuation or regularization of services.
The selected candidates will have to submit an undertaking/affidavit duly authenticated by a First-Class Magistrate before joining. The undertaking must clearly state that the candidate will not claim continuation or regularization after completion of the session.
Candidates will also be required to follow the rules and regulations of Government Polytechnic College Poonch and the Skill Development Department, J&K.
