1. India-US Trade Talks Reach a Plateau
India’s Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that India-US trade negotiations have reached a difficult stage, with limited scope for further concessions from either side. Talks have been ongoing since February 2025.
2. J&K Approves Common Duct Policy 2026
The Jammu & Kashmir government has approved the J&K Common Duct Policy 2026, aimed at developing shared underground infrastructure for telecommunications, internet, cable TV and electricity networks. The policy is expected to reduce repeated road digging and improve digital infrastructure.
