Jammu-Srinagar NH-44 Traffic Update
From 06-10-2026, 1600 hours to 07-10-2026, 1600 hours, very slow traffic movement was observed on NH-44 due to a single-lane restriction and rough road surface at Udhampur, as well as the single-lane stretch between Marog and Nachlana.
Traffic movement was also affected by the breakdown of 04 vehicles between Marog and Nachlana and the movement of 17 nomadic herds crossing the Banihal-Kishtwar route.

Traffic at Damal, Udhampur on NH-44 is also being managed in a regulated manner due to a single-lane stretch of around 30–40 metres.
