Provisional Selection and Waiting List Released
The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, has issued a notice regarding the provisional selection list of candidates for various positions under Mission YUVA in District Kathua. The notice, dated October 10, 2026, contains details of the candidates who appeared in the interview and the outcome of the selection process for the available positions.
As per the official notification, the recruitment process was initiated through Advertisement Notice No. DCK/Adm/2026-27/2786-94 dated August 4, 2026, inviting applications for the position of BHD Coordinator under Mission YUVA. The last date for submission of application forms was August 14, 2026.
Selection Process Details
According to the notice, a total of 13 applications were received in response to the advertisement. The system automatically calculated the marks of the candidates based on the information provided in their application forms.
Out of the 13 candidates, seven were found qualified after meeting the minimum requirement of 40 points under the prescribed Mission YUVA guidelines. The list of candidates who were not qualified or ineligible was subsequently published through Notice No. DE&CC/K/2026-27/1441-43 dated September 10, 2026, inviting objections, if any.
However, no objections were received against the published list, and the number of qualified candidates remained unchanged.
District Selection Oversight Committee Verification
The documents of all seven qualified candidates were placed before the District Selection Oversight Committee for verification and assessment. After examining the documents and applying the approved selection criteria under Mission YUVA, the committee found that only four candidates met the required selection criteria for hiring under the SBDUs and BHDs.

The interview of the qualified candidates was scheduled for October 1, 2026, as notified through Interview Notice No. DE&CC/K/2026-27/1544-48 dated September 28, 2026. The interviews were conducted at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Kathua.
The final assessment was based on candidates’ interview performance, academic merit, qualifications, experience, and other relevant parameters prescribed under the selection guidelines
