Jammu and Kashmir is likely to experience generally dry weather on October 11 and 12, according to the latest forecast from the Meteorological Centre Srinagar. Cloudy conditions, light rain and possible snowfall over higher reaches are expected around October 13–14.

Higher reaches : Light snowfall may occur during the next spell of unsettled weather.
Weather alerts : The IMD’s subdivision-wise forecast lists no warning for October 11–13. Thunderstorm and lightning warnings are indicated for October 14–17.
