The Government Women Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Kalakote, under the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, has issued a re-advertisement notice for the engagement of Guest Faculty on a purely guest faculty and temporary basis for the academic session 2026–27.

The institute has invited applications for the following guest faculty positions:
1. Guest Faculty – Mechanic Consumer Electronics Appliances (Normal)
Candidates applying for the Guest Faculty position in Mechanic Consumer Electronics Appliances must possess one of the following qualifications along with the prescribed experience.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must fulfil any one of the following eligibility conditions:
– A B.Voc. or degree in Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunication, or Electronics and Communication Engineering from an AICTE/UGC-recognised engineering college or university, along with one year of relevant experience.
OR
– A three-year diploma in Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunication, or Electronics and Communication from an AICTE-recognised technical education board, along with two years of relevant experience.
OR
– NTC/NAC/STC qualification in the trade of Mechanic Consumer Electronic Appliances, along with CITS/NCIC qualification in the relevant trade and three years of relevant experience.
Applicants should ensure that their qualifications and experience match the prescribed requirements for the concerned trade.
2. Guest Faculty – Secretarial Practice (Normal)
Candidates interested in the Guest Faculty position in Secretarial Practice must possess the relevant academic or vocational qualification and the required professional experience.
Educational Qualification:
Applicants must meet any one of the following conditions:
– A B.Voc. or degree in Commerce or Arts, along with qualifications in shorthand and typing from a UGC-recognised university, with one year of relevant experience.
OR
– A diploma of at least two years in Commercial Practice from a recognised board of education, or an Advanced Diploma (Vocational) from DGT, along with two years of relevant experience.
OR
– NTC/NAC/STC qualification in the Secretarial Practice (English) trade, along with CITS/NCIC qualification in the relevant trade and three years of relevant experience.

Eligibility Criteria
Domicile Requirement
Applicants must be domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Age Limit
The prescribed age limit is:
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 45 years
The age will be calculated as of 1 January 2026.
Relevant Experience
Candidates must possess the relevant teaching, technical, industrial or professional experience required for their respective trades. The experience requirement varies according to the educational qualification held by the applicant.
CITS Qualification Preference
The notice specifies that candidates possessing CITS qualification in addition to a relevant degree or diploma will be given preference over candidates who do not possess CITS qualification.
