Night travel should be avoided, as shooting-stone incidents, landslides, the movement of nomadic herds, and ongoing construction work between Ramban and Banihal may create difficulties for commuters.

Heavy vehicles and oil tankers

Due to road-widening work being carried out by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on the DigdoI–Khooni Nallah axis of NH-44, the movement of Kashmir-bound oil tankers will remain restricted on the affected stretch during daytime hours.
