Who Can Apply
Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply. The essential qualification for the Data Entry Operator post has three parts:
Minimum 12th passed from a recognized board/institution.
Well conversant with computer packages namely Windows, i.e. Word, Excel course of DOEACC or equivalent from any Govt. / Recognized private institute, with good working knowledge of Computer and internet/E-mail.
Typing speed of more than 35 words per minute (English) on computer.
Age limit: 18 to 40 years. The minimum and maximum age limits apply as on the publishing date of the advertisement. The notice does not mention any age relaxation.
Preference: Preference may be given to candidates with higher qualifications, superior academic credentials, additional relevant experience or any other desirable criteria, as determined by the Client/Principal Employer. Preference may also be given to local candidates and/or candidates with relevant experience in the same or similar department, subject to the requirements of the Client/Principal Employer.

How to Apply for BECIL Data Entry Operator
The application must be submitted online through the BECIL application portal, along with all requisite documents as specified against the eligibility criteria of the post. The notice gives these steps:

Fill in the personal details under new registration and register.
Proceed to the other details and payment to complete the application submission process.
Pay the application processing fee for your category, as shown in the table below.
Save the application receipt after the online payment is successful.

The fee once paid is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. A candidate applying for more than one post must submit a separate application and pay the fee separately for each post. BECIL does not demand or accept any payment at any stage of the recruitment process other than the prescribed Application Processing Fee, wherever applicable.
Selection and Interview
BECIL first scrutinises the applications, then forwards a shortlist to the Client/Principal Employer, who decides the further selection process.
Scrutiny and shortlisting: Applications are scrutinised and shortlisted on the eligibility criteria prescribed for the post. BECIL reserves the right to adopt suitable shortlisting criteria, including but not limited to higher qualifications, greater relevant experience or any other criteria deemed appropriate.
No automatic call: Possessing the prescribed qualifications, experience and other requirements does not entitle a candidate to be called for any stage of selection.
Further selection: The further process includes interview, assessment, skill test or any other evaluation method as may be decided by the Client.
Intimation: Shortlisted candidates are told the date, time and venue/mode of the interview, assessment or skill test (if any) through registered email and/or telephone.
Result: Candidates selected by the Client/Principal Employer are informed of their selection and subsequent formalities through email and/or telephone. BECIL is not obliged to publish interim results, stage-wise shortlists or marks. Only the final result, listing the selected candidates, is published on the official website of BECIL.
Decisions of the Client/Principal Employer and BECIL on eligibility, shortlisting, selection and engagement are final and binding, and no correspondence on them is entertained.

Applications submitted after this date and time will not be considered and will be summarily rejected. No request to extend the last date will be entertained.
Important Instructions
No modification, correction or alteration of submitted application details is entertained after submission.
Applications that are incomplete, not in conformity with the advertisement, or received without the requisite documents are summarily rejected.
Retain a copy of the completed application form and proof of dispatch for future reference.
False, incorrect, incomplete or misleading information, suppression of a material fact, or failure to meet the eligibility criteria makes candidature liable to be cancelled. If this is detected after engagement, services may be terminated forthwith and legal action may also be initiated.
Candidature at all stages is provisional and subject to verification of original documents relating to age, qualification, experience, category and other eligibility conditions. Verification may take place at any stage or after selection.
Shortlisted candidates must produce original documents with one set of self-attested photocopies of all relevant certificates and testimonials at document verification, interview or personal interaction.
The selected candidate must submit a valid Police Verification Report at Document Verification after selection. Failure to do so makes the candidate liable for cancellation of selection.
No TA/DA is admissible for attending any test, document verification, interview, personal interaction or skill test, or for joining duties upon selection.
Keep the registered e-mail ID and mobile number valid and active, since all communication goes through them. Check the official BECIL website and the registered e-mail account, including the Spam/Junk folder, for updates and corrigenda.
Do not communicate directly with or approach the Client/Principal Employer about this recruitment. Canvassing in any form leads to disqualification.
BECIL reserves the right to cancel, modify, restrict, enlarge, curtail, postpone or reopen the recruitment, wholly or partly, at any stage without assigning any reason and without prior notice. It also reserves the right not to fill any or all advertised vacancies.
Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at New Delhi.
