MeT Predicts Rain and Snowfall In J&K From Second Week Of Nov
Heavy snowfall is expected over higher reaches and rain showers is expected over plains as WD gains intensity
The second WD has gained intensity and is likely to impact J&K between 12–14 November.
Current indications of weather models is moderate to heavy snowfall is possible in higher reaches, while rain is expected over plains of Jammu and Kashmir. Season’s first snowfall is also possible in Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Doodhpathri and Pahalgam plains.
