Applications eligible candidates project “Invasive of Environment, for a period one year and personal details, academic qualifications, work experience etc. are invited from temporary positions of JRF/JPF and Field Assistant available in the research Himalayas: Status, Ecological impact and Management”funded by the Ministry change under its NMHS programme. All the purely temporary positions are and co-terminus with the project and initial engagement will be for a period of engagement will be considered on the basis of performance.

Position: Junior Research Fellow

Minimum Qual.: MSc Botany with at least 55% marks at Masters level

Emoluments: Rs. 25000/ fixed for JRF (NET qualified) – Rs. 16000/-fixed for JPF (Non NET qualified)

Area of work:

Kashmir Himalaya and Ladakh (Shall work under Prof. Zafar A Reshi / Drs M.A Shah and Aljaz H Ganie)

Jammu and adjoining areas of Himachal Pradesh (Shall work under Prof. Namrata Sharma)

Position: Field Assistant

Minimum Qual.: 10+2 or above

Emoluments: Rs. 10,000/- fixed

Area of work:  Kashmir Himalaya, Ladakh, Jammu and adioining areas of Himachal Pradesh
