Fresh online applications are invited from the eligible candidates for participating in the selection process for the posts shown against item Code No’s. mentioned in Annexure “A” to this notification who
Are permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir State;
Are having age as on 01-01-2018
- Not below 18 years; and
- Not above: –
- 40 years in case of Open Merit
- 43 years in case of SC/ST/RBA/ALC/OSC candidates
- 42 years in case of physically challenged candidates
- 48 years in case of Ex-Servicemen.
- 40 years in case of candidates in Government Service/Contractual employees;
Are in possession of the prescribed academic / professional / technical qualification and fulfil .u r at jkupdates.in .all other eligibility conditions wherever required as shown against each post/item in the Annexure-A by or before last date of submission of Application Forms i.e., 28-09-2018.
Have deposited fee of Rs. 360.00
Note
The candidates who are eligible for applying for more than one post are required to apply separately for each post.
The number of vacancies may increase or decrease, depending on their availability at the time to selection.
The selection shall be made as per J&K Reservation Rules, 2005.
The selection shall be made on the basis of Written Test followed by viva voce.
The candidates who have already applied for the posts of Librarians, Data Entry Operators/ .u r at jk up da tes.Telephone Operators and Computer Operators, pursuant to Notification No’s. 245, 107 and 554 dated 12-06-2012, 13-04-2009 and 29-09-2009 respectively, need not apply afresh.
The eligible candidates in respect of these posts shall have to appear in the test to be prescribed by the Selection Committee on the date(s) notified separately
