Rohit Kansal press conference on SRO202

Pri Secy PDD, Info & Govt spokesperson Rohit Kansal today in a press conference said that in a historic employee friendly move Govt has decided that no future appointments in J&k shall be made under SRO 202 & probation pd of existing SRO 202 employees reduced from 5 to 2 yrs

J&K Appointment to Class IV (Spl Recruitment) Rules for recruitment of 7052 Class IV posts amended & SRO 202 not to apply to these appointments

Vacancies already referred to recruitment agencies under SRO202 will be brought out of the purview of SRO 202;this to include those where referrals have been made/written test conducted/interview conducted but result not declared/selection completed but final order not issued

The existing SRO 202 appointees who have completed their probation in 2 yrs shall be eligible for benefits of pay, increments & allowances from 1/7/2020.

More than 10,000 SRO 202 employees to benefit from the decision
