J&K District Wise Cases, 1104 New Positive Cases

In Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. 1104 new positive cases have been reported since our last update yesterday. 624 from Jammu Division and 480 from Kashmir Division. Moreover 1549 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals 960 from Jammu Division and 589 from Kashmir Division. Also 22 COVID- 19 deaths have been reported 14 from Jammu Division and 08 from Kashmir Division (24 September 2020; upto 5:00 PM).

The Central Government is continuously monitoring the evolving situation of Covid 19 in the Union Territory and is providing all the necessary support in effectivel containing the spread of Covid-19 & better clinical management of positive cases.

For the residents of J&K. under National Tele-consultation Service. free general ON services by Specialists/ MBBS Doctors have been started. People can avail thes services from home by registering online on webportal https://csanjecvaniond.int Th services are available Monday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. People can als download & install csanjeevaniOPD app from google playstore on their mobiles.

A 24×7 Rapid Antigen Testing facility for COVID- I 9 has been started outside th emergency of GMC Hospital Jammu .The facility will be very useful for th segregation of patients in emergency wing of GMC Jammu.

A 24×7 COVID Control Room for redressal of the Grievances related to the COVID- I positive patients admitted in the Associated Hospitals of Govt. Medical Colley Jammu and Govt. Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu have been setup. People arc informed that, the best way to protect themselves from COVID- 19 is b maintaining physical distance of at least 2 metre from others. frequently cleaning hand with an alcohol based hand sanitizer or washing them with soap & water and followin good respiratory etiquettes & hygiene.

As a measure for social distancing in public places & workplaces wearing a face cow is compulsory.

Early detection of COVID- I 9 can prevent the spread of disease, let us be responsibl for the well-being of ourselves and everyone around us.
