J&K MOTA Latest Information on ST Scholarship Year 2019-20

All the Scheduled Tribe (ST) students who have submitted their application forms for grant of Post-Matric Scholarship during the year 2019-20 (Offline) are hereby informed that as desired by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs (MoTA), Government of India the details/particulars of the eligible student were uploaded on the National Scholarship Portal before 31st of August, 2020 for disbursement of Scholarship through Electronic Mode/PFMS.The National Scholarship (NSP) has on 19-11-2020 & 12-12- 2020 pushed back the payment file (data) of 4940 ST students only after doing the needful on their part and the Scholarship in favour of these students has already been disbursed through PFMS.

As to the remaining 964 students payment files, the same yet to be pushed back by the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) and is expected to be cleared/ sanctioned by the concerned MC New Delhi for which the Officers/Officials of MoTA & NIC are working on war footing basis.

However, the Tribal Affairs Department has taken-up the matter with the Central Authorities and is in close touch on fast track basis with the NIC authorities and it has been assured that the payment file (data) of the remaining eligible ST students year 2019-20 is being pushed back immediately.

Once the data shall be made available by the authorities the Scholarship amount in favour of these remaining students will be credited into their accounts through PFMS Mode accordingly.
