SKUAST Kashmir Upgradation 3rd Round of Counselling Notification

The upgradation/3rd round of Counselling for filling of leftover seats for selection/admission in various Undergraduate Degree Programmes based on Merit/Rank of UET-2020 shall be held at Nund Reshi Hall, SKUAST-K, Shalimar Campus, Srinagar as per the following schedule:

The banking facility for deposit of requisite fee shall be available in the counselling hall. The candidates offered seats can also deposit the fee through credit/debit card / POS/any other mode in the counselling hall.

The candidate must attend upgradation/counselling physically on stipulated date/time, venue and present him/herself before the Counselling Board when his/her name is announced, failing which the claim of admission on seats available at that point of time when he/she was called shall not be entertained in spite of superior merit. The allotment of seats for candidates who present themselves before Counselling Board afterwards shall depend upon availability of seat(s) at that point of time, when he/ she presents him/her self before the Counselling Board of SKUAST-Kashmir in the counselling hall on stipulated date of counselling

For Self-Finance Category, in each degree programme, the selection of desirous candidates shall also be made strictly based on merit obtained in the SKUAST-K, UET-2020.

The candidate/s provisionally admitted under Self-Finance category shall have to submit an undertaking to the extent that he/ she is in a position to pay the Self-Finance category fee for whole duration of the degree programme and shall not request for any concession/exemption of fee at any point during the course of degree programme.

The candidate/s invited for attending the counselling are more than the number of seat available. However, this is to accommodate the shortfall or vacancy arising, if any.

All other terms and conditions as mentioned in Revised Information Brochure-2020 read with University Notification No. 182 (Acad.) of 2020 dated 17-07-2020 shall remain as such.

The candidates having more than one reserved category certificate can get benefit of only one category indicated in the online Application Form/Admit card which in no case shall be changed. The candidate, whose category certificate has not been found valid, will be considered under open merit, if otherwise found eligible, without any further notice.

The candidates claiming seats under EWS category must produce EWS Certificate valid for the year 2020-21.

No under process certificate will be entertained

Candidates claiming benefit under Sports quota will be considered only, if they have applied under Sports category and their names figure in the List of candidates provided by the J&K Sports Council.

Request for upgradation or change of stream shall not be entertained after closure of admissions.

Mere invitation for counseling does not confer any right to a candidate for claim of selection/admission. The seats shall be filled strictly as per merit/rank/eligibility.

The candidates are advised to report along with prescribed Counselling Form available on University website and also bring following original documents and a set of xerox copies of the same:

Admit card of UET-2020

Matriculation Certificate (DOB)

10+2 Certificate/Marks card

Provisional/Character Certificate from school last attended.

Domicile Certificate (or an undertaking to the extent that he/she will produce the same at the time of Counselling/admission as and when notified)

Reserved category certificate (if applied under any reserved category)

Passport size photographs which was put while applying for online admission (Four Nos.)

Seat Matrix shall be available on University website two days before date the counselling.

The candidates are advised to visit University website skuastkashmir.ac.in regularly for updates.

The candidates shall follow the SoPs of COVD-19 during the counselling.
