GMC Jammu Theory Examination Date Sheet for Annual (for Kashmir Division) and Bi-Annual Examination (for Jammu Division)

Whereas, this office issued Date Sheet in respect of all Paramedical / Nursing Trainees of Jammu and Kashmir Division including Leh and Kargil vide this Office Notification No 169/JKPMC of 2020 dared 19/12 /2020.

Whereas, the Theory Examination was scheduled to be held w.e.f. 17.01.2021 as per the above mentioned Notification.

Whereas, in between some of the candidates from various paramedical institutions (Govt. / Private) moved an application to Hon’ ble High Court for seeking interim relief and challenged the mode of examination and filed a suit titles
Basit Farooq & Ors V/s Union Territory of J&K under CMP No: 6891/2020 and 6892/2020 to conduct the theory examination Online of demanded reduction in Syllabus as due to spread of COVID-19 Pandemic and Lockdown ordered by Government of UT of Jammu and Kashmir in the month of March 2020, the candidates are not able to carry on their classes regularly.

Where as, vide the above captioned Writ Petition, the candidates further demanded to implement INC guidelines issued in terms of Circular F.No-22/10/2020-INC dated 10/07/2020.

Whereas, Hon’ble High Court vide dated 30.12.2020, passed an order directing therein that Respondent No 2 & 3 i.e. President (Principal / Dean), J&K Paramedical / Nursing Council, GMC, Jammu and Controller of Examinations
J&K Paramedical Council Jammu shall consider and take decision on the representation(s) of the petitioners, if any moved before them.

Whereas, this office has already considered the representation(s) moved by the petitioners by changing the pattern of Question Papers to short answer type only with an open choice vide this office Notification No : 2608-2611, dated
22/12/2020.

Whereas, keeping in view the Hon’ble Court directions, this office taking cognizance of the matter postponed the Theory Examination vide Notification No J KPM C/20/124 /4719-4789 dated 05/01/2021 and objections in the said
case stands filed.

Whereas, vide Writ Petition 252/2021, titled Komal Baloria and other s V/S Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir
and others, ws also disposed off by the Hon’ble High Court vide Order dated 19/02/2021 with directing the respondents to take decision on the representati on made by the candidates.

Whereas, vide Writ Petition 75/2021 c/w i) WP (C) No 2148/2020 titled Adfar Altaf and Others V/s Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir was also disposed off by the Hon’ble High Court vide Order dated 09.03.2021, with direction
to respondents to consider and decide the representation made by the candidates.

Whereas, the Writ Petitions were discussed in length and breadth and after threadbare discussion on deciding the mode of examination and it was decided that the examination (Theory Part) shall be conducted via offline mode without wasting further precious time of the aspirants.

Now therefore, It is according impressed upon all the Principals of Govt. AMT/ ANMT / ANM / GNM Schools / Private Paramedical Institutes concerned will accordingly issue Roll Number Slips to the examinees, already allotted from the
office of the J&K Paramedical / Nursing Council well in time. The examination will start at 12:00 Noon sharp as per the Date Sheet mentioned below:

Note:-

In case of GNM 3rd Year (New Course) including Lateral Entry GNM 3rd Year, Paper 3rd and Paper 4th shall be conducted at the concerned Institute level and marks to be sent to the Council as per the INC guidelines enabling
this office to compile the Result.

Centre Notification and Date Sheet for Practical Examination will be issued separately

Candidates are directed to come in Proper Uniform.

Candidates are directed not to use any kind of Electronic Gadget etc in the Examination Hall. If any, candidate is found in possession of such gadget, he / she may lead to Unfair Means.

Examination of General Nursing & Midwifery (New Course) shall be held as per the newly prescribed Syllabus/ INC Syllabus and Norms.

Candidates are directed to bring their Roll No Slips/Admit Cards on the date of Examination.
