under Ministry of Coal, Government of India, is the single largest coal producing company in the world and the largest corporate employer with approx.2.62 lakhs employees, contributing around 83%of the total coal production in India. We produce non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications. NCL, a Miniratna subsidiary company of CIL, is an ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 company with state of the art technological infrastructure, and it operates 10 highly mechanized open cast mines in the District of Singrauli in Madhya Pradesh State and Sonebhadra in Uttar Pradesh State.
