A Walk in interview to be conducted for newly created posts of Medical Officers
for establishment of 500 bedded temporary Covid Hospital vide Govt.
Order No. 398-JK(HME) of 2021 dated: 18-05-2021 in collaboration with
the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Ministry
of Defence, Government of India initially for a period of one year extendable
up to maximum of three years (One year at a time and further extension
subject to good performance and conduct.

Name of the Posts :

Medical Officer : 35 Posts

Pay Scale : Lavel-9 (52700-166700)

Eligibility : MBBS

Selection Criteria :

MBBS: 60 marks

Interview: 40 marks

Age Limit:

Min.23 yr.

Max.50 yr.

The eligible candidates are advised to bring the self attested copies of the following documents alongwith originals on the date of interview.

MBBS Degree

Distinction /Honour /Medal/Academic Merit Certificate, if any,

Post -Graduate Degree/Diploma Certificate.

House Job experience in any teaching institution.

Experience certificate

Terms and conditions :

The candidate should be permanent resident/ Domicile of J&K.

The eligibility conditions and the qualifications for filling up of these posts on contractual basis shall be the same as prescribed for these posts in the relevant recruitment rules.

These appointments shall not entitle the appointee to any preferential claim for regularization/ regular appointment under normal process of selection/appointment.

The selection Committee reserves the right not to fill up any post in case Administrative exigency so demands.

Conditions of Service in the matter of discipline and conduct of appointee shall be governed by the Rules, regulations and orders in-vogue under the J&K Civil Services Rules.

The contractual appointment shall be terminable on one month’s notice from either side or on payment of one month’s salary in lieu of notice by the appointing authority;provided that the appointment of the contracting party shall
be terminable without notice by the appointing authority whenever the post is filled up on regular basis by it and in that case the contracting party shall shave no claim against the Government/appointing authority.

Applicant found having made any incorrect or false statement, suppressing material information shall render himself/herself liable for criminal proceedings.

All the contractual appointee, shall be paid full salary corresponding to the Minimum of the Pay Scale including all allowances as long as they remain in the services and actually perform their duties.

The application of any Medical Officers working in any other Medical College in the state shall be accepted only on production of No Objection Certificate from the concerned Head of the institution.

The eligible candidates shall have to appear before the selection Committee constituted vide Order No. 398- JK(HME) of 2021 dated: 18-05-2021 under the
Chairmanship of Principal, Govt. Medical College, Jammu .

Application form found incomplete in any manner during the scrutiny of applications shall be rejected without any prior notice to the applicant.

No application shall be entertained after last date of submission of application form, even by post.

The appointment for the post of Nursing Supervisor shall deemed to be terminated on attainment of 65 years of age by the appointee.
