At 1Gbp Reliance Jio begin 5G in Delhi and other cities

Reliance Jio on Thursday started the first 5G beta trial in the capital city of India and three cities including Mumbai, Kolkata and Varanasi. Users can enjoy speeds of more than 1Gbps for downloads.

At Chanakyapuri located in the Lutyens” Zone in New Delhi, the users had internet speeds of more than 1Gbps.

During the test the company stated, “Now 5G services will be available only on an invitation basis.”

According to the company’s website, slowly people will begin to receive 5G signals throughout the city in a gradual manner.

According to an official announcement published on behalf of Reliance Jio on October 4, Jio True 5G welcome promotion is now available in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata as well as Varanasi for Jio users on an invitation.

The customers will be provided with Unlimited 5G data, with speeds up to 1Gbps+. This Beta trial service will be available for additional cities and will be revealed gradually as cities get prepared.

Users will continue to take advantage from the Beta test until network coverage for the city is fully covered to ensure the highest service and coverage to each user.

Inviting ‘Jio Welcome Offer’ customers will automatically be upgraded to Jio True 5G. Jio True 5G services, without having to switch their current Jio SIM and 5G phone. Jio is working with all brands of handsets to allow their 5G phones to seamlessly work in conjunction with Jio True 5G offerings to ensure customers can get the largest selection of 5G phones to pick from
