JKGAD Ordered Seven days of State Mourning
As a mark of respect to Dr. Manmohan Singh, former Prime Minister of India, who has passed away on 26th December, 2024, the Government of India has decided that:
a) Seven days of State Mourning shall be observed from 26th December, 2024 to 1st January, 2025 (both days inclusive) throughout the country.
b) The National Flag shall fly at half-mast during the Mourning on all buildings and places where it is flown regularly; and
c) There shall be no official entertainment during the Mourning.
These decisions are brought into notice of all the concerned for information and necessary action
