The eligible candidates are invited for Walk-In-Interview on 16 May 2017 at 10.30 AM at ICAR-CITH, Srinagar for the following temporary positions on purely contractual basis, coterminous with the sanction of scheme/ project. The candidates who fulfill the requisite qualifications as indicated below should bring their brief bio-data neatly typed and experience certificates along with original and attested photocopies of qualification certificates, passport size photographs for verification and submission.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF)	01 (One)	Network project on Onion & Garlic	Essential qualification: M. Sc in Agricultural Entomology/ Plant Protection or Zoology with specialization in Entomology with NET. Desirable Qualifications: Research experience in agricultural insect pest/ mite identification, monitoring and management, basic knowledge of data collection, statistical analysis and MS Excel functions.
Senior Research Fellow (SRF)	01 (One)	Network project on Onion & Garlic	Essential Qualification: M. Sc in Vegetable crops/ Agronomy/ Soil Science or Botany with NET. Desirable Qualifications: Research experience in vegetable crops production, maintenance and evaluation. Basic knowledge of statistical analysis and MS excel functions.
Technical Associate	01 (One)	National Saffron Mission	Essential qualification: M. Sc in Agriculture/ Biotechnology Desirable Qualifications: Experience in saffron production technology/ saffron tissue culture

 

NOTE:

1. Applicants should bring a brief bio data including original academic qualifications, employment records, professional experience and passport size photographs with attested copies of testimonials for ascertaining eligibility.
2. Above position are purely temporary, time bound and coterminous with the project.
3. The Upper age limit for SRF/Technical Associate will be 35 years (men) and 40 years (women) as on 01.05.2017. Relaxable in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women as per rule.
4. Selected candidates for the position of SRF/TA will be paid emoluments as per norms of Govt, of India/ ICAR.
5. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in-interview.
6. No objection certificate from the employer/University, in case he/she is employed.
7. The Competent Authority reserved the right to terminate his/her services without any notice at any time.
