Applications are Invited for Various Posts Under Wakf Schools J&K
Whereas available posts of Lecturer/ Subject Teacher / General-Line Teacher in Wakf Schools were advertised for engagement in “Academic Arrangement” (Session 2018) vide two (02) Notifications bearing No.MWB/Edu/ 1600-02 dated 27-02-2018.
Whereas the following criteria of selection (including holding of Screening / Written test) were notified in the said advertisements
Teacher
Screening Test(Written) : 30 points
Percentage of marks In Graduation 30 points (On pro-rata basis)
Post Graduation :05 points
- Ed 05 points
- Ed 05 points
- Phil 02 points
Ph. D : 03 points
Experience : 20 points (Experience of teaching at HSS level, @ 04 points for each year/academic session)
Lecturer

(4) Whereas such categories of posts (as at para-3) were re-advertised therefore vide No. MWB/ Edu/ 1629-31 dated 10-03-2018 and No. MWB/Edu/ 1629-31 dated 10.3. 2018.
(5)Whereas inspite of re-advertisement, the number of applications received for the posts of Lecturer /Teacher in the following categories is too low to merit a Screening Test :-

- Whereas some candidates have applied simultaneously for 02 categories of posts viz. Lecturer and Subject Teacher.
- Whereas holding a common Screening (written) test is apt only to deprive such candidates (as at para 6) of the opportunity to compete for both.
- Whereas holding separate Screening (written) tests for such candidates would only cause further delay, besides being fraught on account of logistics.
- Whereas the School Heads are insisting placement of requisite teaching staff without further delay consistent with academic imperatives.
- Whereas institution of requisite academic arrangement (in Wakf Schools) without further delay would occasion a re-look of the notified criteria in the interest of students at large.
- Now, therefore, with due regard to the facts cited hereinabove (paras 5, 6, 7,8 and 9 in particular), the “scheme of selection / weightage” advertised vide No.MWB/Edu/ 1600-02 dated 27-02-2018 is hereby revised as under:-
Selection shall be made on the basis of relative merit of the candidates to be determined on a scale of 100 points as under:-
