Online applications are invited from male candidates to work as non-linear video editors for the departmental programme AKS-E- PARVAZ telecast on Doordarshan Kashir Channel Srinagar.

The engagement will be purely on need basis against a monthly remuneration of Rs 22,000/- per month. Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

10+2 pass out from a recognized institute.

3 – 5 Years of experience in visual media/concerned line.

Must have sound knowledge of working editing hardware and ability to work on multiple number of editing software viz, Edius, Final cut pro, Davinci Resolve, Sony Vegas Pro, .u r a t j k u p d a t e s.Adobe Premier Pro, Photoshop, Adobe after Effects etc.

Must be able to configure/operate computer editing systems.

Good sense of pace and timing as an editor.

Flexibility in working schedules & ready to work up to late hours.

Good sense of visual awareness and creative skill set.

Need to be flexible, work at short notices, must have an ability to work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.

Should be able to develop titles, motion graphics and creating audio recordings for narrations independently.

Should have an ability to put new ideas to practice.

Should have ability to discover and implement new editing technologies and practices to maximize efficiency.

Ready to work in the department six days a week from 10 Am. till the time programme is telecast on Doordarshan.u r a t j k u p d a t e s..

Preference will be given to the person having experience in editing such types of programmes.

The candidates may have to appear for technical ability test and viva-voce.

The engagement of the selected candidates will purely be on need basis for a period of one year in the first instance and the selected candidate has to perform his duties at media complex Srinagar.
