Applications on the prescribed format are invited from the eligible candidates/ doctors (PSC and Non-PSC) who are permanent residents/domicile of UT of J&K for engagement as Senior Resident/Registrar in various disciplines of Govt. Medical College, Rajouri purely on Academic Arrangement basis initially for a period of one (01) year extendable up to maximum of 03 years subject to satisfactory performance of the candidate

50 years as on cut-off date. Selection shall be made as per latest criteria/method/guidelines issued by Administrative Department, Health & Medical Education, Jammu/Srinagar and as per latest Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions issued by NMС.

The application form annexed with this notice along with requisite documents (self attested) should reach in the office of undersigned by registered post or by hand on or before 10. 11.2025 up to 04:00 PM at Mehra Campus, GMC Rajouri.
Applications sent by any other mode or after the last date shall not be entertained.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS :
• The maximum tenure of Senior Resident shall be (03) three years and no further extension shall be granted under any circumstances vide Government Order No. 383-JK (HME) of 2024 dated 20.06.2024.
• Candidates may note that their candidature will remain provisional till the genuineness of their educational qualifications/documents is verified from the issuing authority.
• The candidates are advised to go through the requirements of educational qualification and certificates to satisfy themselves that they are eligible for the post.
• If the documents submitted by the candidates are found not substantiated or incorrect by the committee at any point of time, the candidature will be cancelled and appropriate proceedings under law shall be taken.
• The appointee shall be required to submit an affidavit duly attested by the Judicial Magistrate at the time of joining to the effect that he/she will not leave the residency mid-way and will serve for the tenure period.
• The appointment against the advertised posts candidates shall always be on tenure basis without conferment of any preferential right for regular appointment against the post, which shall be made strictly in accordance with relevant recruitment rules.
• The candidates who have already completed/doing/left the Registrarship/Senior Residency midway in any discipline need not apply.
• Any candidate (doctor) intending to leave the job shall have to provide one-month prior notice duly forwarded by the concerned HoD or else the doctor shall have to deposit one month salary in this institution.
• The vacancies are advertised as per the posts which are vacant or likely to fall vacant. However, the department may withdraw/alter number of vacancies or decides not to fill the vacancies at any point of time till the completion of selection
process without any further notification.
