Educational Qualifications :Â
The applicant must have an MBBS degree and completed internship from a recognized Medical College. Only candidates with permanent registration from J&K Medical Council or National Medical Commission are eligible.
Other Requirements
Candidates must upload scanned copies of original documents and also submit a notarized affidavit affirming:
No experience certificate claim if tenure is not completed.
No participation in strike activities during tenure.
Maintenance of discipline.
No pending FIRs or involvement in criminal activity.
No private practice allowed.
Selection Process :
The selected candidates shall be engaged fora period of six months. Only those candidates can apply, who have permanent Registration certificate from the Jammu and Kashmir Medical Council or National Medical Commission, otherwise their application(s) shall not be entertained.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES : –
a) Candidates are advised to go through the instructions and all the eligibility conditions prescribed for the post before filling in the online application form.
b) Link for filling up online application form for the above position shall be available on the official website of Government Medical College, Srinagar i.e. https://www.gmcs.ac.in/_w.e.f. 23.06.2025 from 10:00AM onwards to 07.07.2025 upto 04:00PM. No other means/mode of application shall be accepted.
c) Candidates are required to sign up before filling in the application form.
d) After logging into the account, candidates are required to fill in all the requisite fields of One Time Registration (OTR) i.e. personal information, contact information & educational Qualifications, service details and uploading documents etc.
e) Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of original certificates/ affidavit. Photocopies of certificate/affidavit uploaded shall not be entertained. size of Certificate/affidavit must be less than or equal to 1024KB in PDF format only.
