Government Medical College Srinagar has invited online applications from eligible candidates domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir for engagement as Senior Residents/Demonstrators in various disciplines.

Tenure of Engagement :

Selected candidates will be engaged initially for one year.

The tenure may be extended up to a maximum of three years, subject to satisfactory performance.

Performance will be reviewed annually and certified by the respective Head of Departments (HODs).

Mode of Engagement :

Non-in-service candidates:
Will be engaged under S.O. 364 of 2020 dated 27-11-2020 on an Academic Arrangement basis and as per Government Order No. 383-JK (HME) of 2024 dated 20-06-2024.

In-service candidates:
Applications will be accepted only after completion of required formalities under the J&K Civil Service Rules, 1979.
Applicants must also produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their parent department as per Circular No. 03-HME of 2019 dated 27-05-2019.

Eligibility Criteria :

Candidates must possess MD/MS/DNB or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution in the relevant discipline.

Eligibility must be in accordance with the Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions Regulations, 2025.

After logging into the account, candidates are required to fill in all the requisite fields of One Time Registration (OTR) i.e. personal information, contact information & educational Qualifications, service details and uploading documents etc.

Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of original certificates/ affidavit(s). Photocopies of certificate/affidavit(s) uploaded shall not be entertained. Size of Certificate/affidavit must be less than or equal to 1024KB in PDF format only.
