Advertisement for engagement of candidates for the posts of Casualty Medical Officer in Govt. Medical College, Doda on academic arrangement basis in terms of SO 364 of 2020.

Applications are invited from non-PSC candidates for the posts of Casualty Medical Officer for a period of one year, extendable up to six years in terms of SO-364 of 2020 dated 27-11-2020 — initially for a period of one year, extendable up to a maximum of six years (one year at a time and subject to good performance and conduct) or till the selection is made in accordance with recruitment rules governing the respective posts, whichever is earlier.

Further, the extension after three years shall be made on a year-to-year basis by the Principal GMC Doda, only after approval from the Administrative Department.

Candidates interested in applying for the said posts at Government Medical College, Doda can download the application form attached with this advertisement notice from the official website of GMC Doda i.e. www.gmcdoda.jk.gov.in by or before 30th of November, 2025 (in PDF format only).

The candidate has to deposit an application fee of Rs. 500/- in the official account number of Government Medical College, Doda i.e. 0449010570000055 EX Branch, J&K Bank, Doda, IFSC Code JAKA0EXDODA. It is mandatory to attach the bank receipt with the PDF of the application form.

General Instructions:

Candidates are advised to go through the terms and conditions before filling the application form.

The application form is enclosed with this Advertisement Notice as Annexure “A”.

The application form shall be accepted in the prescribed format through email only. The candidates have to submit their application forms along with all the requisite documents. Incomplete application forms will be rejected without informing the candidate.

The consolidated pay is equal to the revised basic pay which corresponds to the minimum of the pre-revised scale for the post of Medical Officer in the Health Department as per SRO 193 dated 24.04.2018 + dearness allowance.

The selection criteria for the above-said posts shall be notified separately.
