Eligibility Criteria :
Qualifications (TBE-XSM-01 Mechanical/Electrical): Diploma in Engineering (full time & regular) in the relevant trade from a recognized Board of Technical Education/Institute, OR Diploma awarded by Indian Air Force/Indian Army/Indian Navy after prescribed training.
Experience (TBE-XSM-01 Mechanical/Electrical): Minimum 2 years of working experience in Aircraft Maintenance.
Qualifications (TBE-XSM-02 Aerodrome): Intermediate/10+2/equivalent examination in any stream/subject approved by Central/State Education Boards.
Experience (TBE-XSM-02 Aerodrome): Minimum 03 years’ experience in aerodrome/flight operations by working at a flying base/station.
Candidates must have acquired qualifications through regular mode only.
Salary/Stipend :
Basic Pay on Induction: Rs. 23,000/- for D6 Channel; Rs. 21,000/- for B4 Channel.
Dearness Allowance (revised quarterly) on Basic Pay.
Perks & Allowance at the rate of 25% of the Basic Pay (includes Conveyance, Canteen, Washing, Magazine, Professional Development, Special Allowances).
Allowance towards medical reimbursement: Lump sum amount of Rs. 1500/- per month.
Other benefits: Monthly/Annual Incentive, Quarterly Performance Pay, Night Shift Allowance (if applicable), Uniform, Shoe Allowance, HRA (if company quarter not provided).
An annual increase of 3% during the tenure shall be admissible on the Basic Pay subject to satisfactory performance.
Age Limit (as on 10-12-2025)
Maximum Age: 28 years.
Ex-Servicemen can deduct their service period from their actual age; resultant age must not exceed maximum age limit by more than 3 years.
Upper age limit relaxable by 10 years for PwBDs.
Upper age limit with all relaxations shall not exceed 55 years (56 years for PwBD).

Application fee is Rs. 200/- which is non-refundable.
Fee is exempted for SC/ST/PwBD categories.

Selection Process :
Candidates will be shortlisted for a Written Test based on qualification and experience requirements.
The Written Test will be 2 ½ hours long, comprising Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) in three parts (General Awareness, English & Reasoning, Concerned Discipline).
There is no negative marking; each question carries 1 mark.
Candidates must secure at least 50% marks in the written test to qualify.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification in order of merit.
Provisional Offers of Engagement will be issued after successful Document Verification and candidates will undergo a Pre-employment Medical examination.
General Information :
Only Indian Nationals need to apply.
Age and Experience are calculated as on 10-12-2025.
Engagement is on a tenure basis for a maximum of four years and does not guarantee regular/permanent employment.
Selected candidates will undergo Induction Training for a period of 8 weeks.
Selected candidates will be deployed in shifts as per company requirements and are liable to be transferred to any HAL location based on organizational requirements.
Candidates possessing higher qualifications than prescribed should not apply, their candidature will be rejected.
No relaxation in Health Standards will be allowed during the pre-employment medical examination.
